The Throat Chakra is connected to communication, self-expression and having the confidence to speak your truth.

I created her as a Black woman surrounded by different shades of blue because I wanted to give that energy a face I could connect with.

When I focus on my Throat Chakra, I picture her as a reminder to use my voice, express myself honestly and not be afraid to be seen or heard.

Created using my thread blending technique, the layers of blue thread represent the freedom and flow I associate with expressing who we truly are.

She reminds me that my voice matters. I don't need to change it, soften it or make it sound like somebody else's.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply speak in our own voice.
