In 2023, Karla was invited by the Trinidad and Tobago High Commission to exhibit selected works at a formal Luncheon event in London.

Her pieces were presented to distinguished members of the Trinidad and Tobago diaspora, including singer-songwriter Billy Ocean and Baroness Floella Benjamin. The exhibition formed part of an ongoing cultural relationship between Karla’s practice and the High Commission, reinforcing her presence within diplomatic and diasporic spaces.

This invitation marked continued institutional recognition of her evolving sculptural work.
