LET’S CO CREATE

Let’s Co Create came from my fascination with what can happen when we share ideas and allow someone else into our creative world.

The face and hand physically extend out from the canvas as if reaching towards you, inviting you in and saying: come, let's create something together.

For me, creativity doesn't always have to happen alone. A conversation, an idea or simply seeing something from someone else's perspective can take you somewhere you might never have reached by yourself.

The swirling shapes and colours represent that exchange different thoughts, emotions and ideas coming together and becoming something new.

Created using my thread suturing technique and layered construction, this was also one of my earlier experiments with taking my work beyond the flat surface of a canvas and into something more three-dimensional.

Sometimes the most exciting ideas begin when we open our world and allow someone else into it.
